Mixed Up
People are understandably afraid of going through uncharted waters
but they underestimate their ability to develop their own systems and
surround themselves with the right people to help create their own way
forward.
It's the "forced" development that people don't realize as the invaluable
asset and experience that they get as a result of putting themselves out
there and doing the things that they normally wouldn't out of fear.

Well, first few lectures i had this week was kinda dull due to introduction, admin work, getting settled into classes, confirming allocated spots.. its been very hectic, and my first lecture on chemistry sucked. the lecturer was good, but man do i have lots to catch up on, it was 3 years ago that i did inorganic chem, which i got a D for, thank you very much. Man hate it that i have to do chem again! And well, the house and job searching will officially begin very very soon. and i realised that i gotta read up alot before class and after class. so its gonna be a lot of studying for me. they really dont spoon-feed u here. its very diff from asian education system, guess i just gotta get used to it.
mum just left today so today is officially start of solo. having mixed feelings again, cos my only source of familiarity has left. hope i dont get too sad and lonely... its hard to suddenly mix with the crowd cos they're all year 1 moving to year 2 so they've got their own cliques. and i'm straight into year 2. hope once classes fully commence, i will have some friends. mum and i had a great time shopping yesterday at harbourtown. its a whole shopping mall as big as far east plaza maybe without the restaurants and everything there is factory outlet. and now there's summer sale, and since most of the ppl here are rather plus sized, all the small and extra small tops were still available. haha, we shopped like two mad people. but it was fun, shopping with my mum...
weather here is still hot and dry. miss spore's humidity. and the food is really ex, but i've been eating substantially good asian food, but nothing beats spore food.. i have so muuuccch work to doooooo!
miss everyone. miss home... :(
